Elisa Peden, Executive Assistant
Elisa serves as Executive Assistant to Attorney Mehlos. Elisa brings a wealth of legal and management experience from over two decades working as an Executive Director and Paralegal for Wisconsin law firms. Elisa graduated from Edgewood College with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She began her legal career in litigation at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP before joining Hansen Reynolds LLC as an Executive Director. Most recently, she oversaw day-to-day operations of Blumenfield & Shereff, LLP. Elisa excels in building personal connections and multi-tasking over a range of responsibilities such as accounts, business development, paralegal work, and project management. Outside of work, Elisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, home DIY projects, and international travel. Elisa makes a tremendous difference in our clients’ lives and we couldn’t be happier to have Elisa on our team.
Kelsie Kufahl, Paralegal
Kelsie serves as a Paralegal handling an array of responsibilities including new client onboarding, client relationships, and legal research and writing among other responsibilities. Kelsie is an energetic, client-centered, and results-oriented professional who brings a half decade of legal experience from her previous position as a paralegal and lead receptionist at LawtonCates. Kelsie graduated with a perfect GPA and a host of certificates from her Paralegal Studies program at Madison Area Technical College. Kelsie is passionate about pursuing justice, professional growth, ensuring fairness and equality through the justice system, and making a meaningful difference through her work. In her free time, Kelsie enjoys traveling, especially to New York City, and going to concerts whenever she can.
Keegen Kuehne, Legal Assistant
Keegen serves as a Legal Assistant, handling client communications, collaborates on executing litigation strategies, and handles our firms’ in-house IT. Keegen is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s College of Letters and Science, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree as a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Historical Honors Society. Keegen has a background in video editing, photography, graphic design and customer service while growing up working in his father’s small business. He brings this unique skill set to our team while handling our firm’s in-house IT. Keegen is an outstanding asset to our clients between onboarding new clients, collaborating in case strategic analysis, and communicating with prosecutor and judges’ offices. Keegen is extremely social and in his free time loves to be with friends, spend time outdoors, and be entertained by his rescue cat, Juno. Keegen has been a tremendous asset to our clients and our team executing technology solutions.
